Budget-savvy mom shares a $7 hack to create magical memories at her daughter’s birthday party

A recent post on the Kmart Mums Australia Facebook group showed a simple yet effective way to elevate your child’s birthday party or next sleepover.

The best part is, it definitely won’t break the budget.

The mother shared, “Thank you, Kmart! This sweet booth was the perfect addition to my daughter’s movie night birthday party.

“The girls really enjoyed picking out their snacks from the stand before settling down to watch a movie.

“It definitely created a wow factor, and I plan to use it again… and again.”

Kmart Pick and Mix Treat Stand

The Kmart Pick And Mix Treat Stand, $10, features three tiers and nine pockets for treats like candy or chocolate.

In her accompanying photos, the mum shared the delicious scene, in which the Pick and Mix stand took center stage.

Tiers of the stand were filled with mini chocolates, lolly bags, marshmallows and pretzels, giving party guests plenty of choice.

The shelves below had a variety of chips like Twisties, Burger Rings, Pretzels and Smiths Chips all lined up neatly.

Near the stand were a variety of mini bottles of soft drinks like Coke and Sprite, as well as boxes of popcorn, perfect for movie night.

Mom also cleverly repurposed Kmart Art Caddys, $3, for the kids to pick out their treats and keep everything contained and clutter-free.
